Wednesday Second Week Lent
Romans 8:38-39: I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither present nor the future, nor powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is ours in Christ Jesus our Lord.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY ...
Heavenly Father, thank you for loving us. Thank you for giving us the promise that nobody can separate us from your love. Make us more aware of your accompanying presence in our life. We pray this in Infant Jesus name. Amen.

Meditation on Today's Gospel: (Matthew 20:17-28)
A disciple of Jesus must be ready to surrender his or her life in martyrdom and be ready to surrender each and every day in the little and big sacrifices required. An early church father summed up Jesus’ teaching with the expression: to serve is to reign with Christ. We each one of us share in God’s reign by laying down our lives in humble service of one more as Jesus did for our sake. Are we ready to surrender your life and to serve others as Jesus did?
