2 Corinthians 5:17: If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Being the "God of new things" he can even make us new. We all like "do-overs" or second chances. God does much better than that! He allows us to become new again.  Beyond forgiveness, beyond cleansing, he makes us holy through Jesus. Let's use the opportunity of a new creation as a springboard for living a life fresh and new and alive for God!

Loving LORD, we thank you for the new creation and a fresh start. Please give us wisdom and strength to serve you with integrity and faithfulness in this coming year. We pray that your work be done in our life as we offer ourself, our plans, and our future to you. We pray this through Infant Jesus my intercessor and Lord. Amen.
